1. GENERAL
The THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER store is operated by SELVES. The following terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) are valid between you and SELVES (“SELVES”; may be referred to as “us” and “we”) and apply to all orders placed on SELVES’s website www.theworldisyouroyster.net (the “Website”).
SELVES reserves the right to revise the Terms and Conditions at any time. The date of the latest update is found in the final section of the Terms and Conditions.
Please note that the Terms and Conditions valid for your order is always the version of the Terms and Conditions that you have read and accepted before you have placed your order and not a later version. You should keep a copy of these Terms and Conditions for future reference.
2. LANGUAGE
The language of the Terms and Conditions is English.
3. YOUR ACCOUNT
When you place an order on www.theworldisyouroyster.net an account will be created in our customer management system. The only information that will be stored is the information you provide to your order such as shipping and billing address as well as email address. If you create an account yourself you will be able to choose a password with which you can log in to your account online and view your order history and track your order.
If you would like to delete an account you can also contact info@twiyo-studio.com and the customer care team will assist you.
Please note that an order may be placed without creating an account.
4. PLACING ORDER
By placing an order on the Website, you confirm that you have read and accept the Terms and Conditions and have read and understood Privacy Policy. Please make sure that you have read and understood the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy before you place an order.
Before you place an order, you will be given the opportunity to review your selections, the information you have provided, the total price of your order and correct any input errors. Please note that products in your shopping bag are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers until you have placed the order at checkout and received the “Shipping Confirmation” e-mail.
If prolonged inactivity causes your connection to the Website to fail, your selection of products may be lost. In such case, you will be required to re-enter your selection of products to the shopping bag.
4.1 Order confirmation
SELVES receives your order when you click the “CHECKOUT” – button in the checkout. When SELVES has received your order, you will receive an e-mail with your “Order Confirmation” including your order number, details of the product you have ordered from us, your payment details and delivery details. Please note that the confirmation e-mail is an acknowledgement that we have received your order and is not an acceptance of the order. Please note that during sales, the Order Confirmation may take up to 5 days.
Please note that all orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may, at our discretion, choose not to accept your order for any reason whatsoever without any liability to you.
4.2 Acceptance and shipping confirmation
Once the order has been processed, a ”Shipping Confirmation” e-mail will be sent with all relevant information about your order. The “Shipping Confirmation” is our acceptance of your order.
5. PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Please note that SELVES cannot guarantee that all the products shown on the Website are in stock or are available for purchase at the time you place your order. In the event the product is no longer available you will be contacted by e-mail shortly after placing your order. We will refund you the amount of the purchase if we already have received payment from you. SELVES preserves its right to stop selling a product.
Sale, special offers and promotions that are advertised on the Website are valid until stock lasts unless other terms are stated in the offer.
6. COLORS AND PRODUCT IMAGES
The products displayed on the Website are reflecting the products’ colors and other qualities as lifelike as possible. However, please note that due to the color settings of your computer, the colors of the products shown in the pictures on the Website can differ somewhat from their actual colors. SELVES cannot be held responsible for any such discrepancy.
7. PRICES AND SHIPPING CHARGES
All orders are shipped on a DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) basis, meaning all taxes and import duties are excluded in the final price. So your order may incur duties and import taxes upon delivery. Please note that customs policies vary widely from country to country. We recommend you contact your local customs office for further information.
SELVES cannot be held liable for any currency changes or currency exchange rates any bank may have when exchanging any currency into another currency.
The prices and any shipping charges shown on the Website may vary from time to time and SELVES is not bound by the price until SELVES has accepted the order by sending the “Shipping Confirmation” to you.
If you have placed an order and the price has changed before we have accepted your order (by sending you the Shipping Confirmation), we will notify you by e-mail about the price change and give you the option to place a new order with the new price or cancel the old order. If we are unable to contact you, your order will be cancelled. SELVES always reserves the right to cancel any order prior to our acceptance of the order. If we already have received payment for a cancelled order, we will refund you the amount of the purchase.
Please also note the SELVES may cancel the order even if it has been accepted by SELVES under the condition that you realized or should have realized that the price information was incorrect.
Shipping charges for your order (if any) are shown at the checkout stage. Please find more information regarding shipping costs and estimated delivery time under Section 9.
8. PAYMENTS
The following payment methods are accepted:
8.1 Card payment
SELVES accepts payment by VISA / MasterCard / American Express / Euro Card / JCB / Union Pay. The full payment is charged when the package is dispatched. All transactions are encrypted and 100% secure.
8.2 PayPal
You can choose to pay with your Pay-Pal Credit or through a credit - or debit card connected to your PayPal account. For more information, visit www.paypal.com.
Please note that when paying with PayPal your shipping address needs to be your registered residence.
9. SHIPPING
The shipping charges for your order are provided at checkout. Please note that the shipping charges do not include import costs that may be due when the package reaches the country of destination.
We aim to dispatch your order within 1 - 4 days from the day you received the “Shipping Confirmation”. Please note that during holidays and sale, orders may take up to 7 days to dispatch. We operate Monday through Friday with exception for public holidays.
Please note that delivery times are provided as guidelines only and commence from the date of dispatch. The delivery times do not take into account possible delays caused by payment authorization and/or stock availability.
SELVES will, from time to time and at its own discretion, offer a free shipping promotion. When such promotion is offered, it will be clearly stated on the Website and will be applied to your order at checkout. Please note that imports costs may apply, depending on the country of destination.
Once your parcel has been shipped you will receive shipping information by e-mail from the delivery company in charge of the shipping.

10. UNCOLLECTED PACKAGES
SELVES reserves the right to charge you the actual cost for any shipping charges for uncollected packages. The shipping charges will be deducted from the amount paid for the order.
11. RIGHT OF RETURNS
11.1 Exchanges
Please note all products are non-exchangeable but can be returned with a full refund.
11.2 Shipping charges for returning the products
Please note that you have to pay for the shipping charges when you return the products in accordance with your withdrawal and exchange right. SELVES will not refund additional duties, taxes or any additional charges that may incur in relation to a return.
11.5 Returning the products
When returning, SELVES recommends that you always pack the product in the same way and in the same packaging as when the products were sent to you.
- Please send a request for a return authorization to our customer service email, info@twiyo-studio.com, within 7 days of receiving your order, as indicated by the order number, account information and delivery tracking number.
- You will receive a return authorization form and instructions once your return request is provisionally approved.
- You will be provided with SELVES's FedEx account details and FedEx shipping labels on returning the item(s). Please noted that you are responsible for the return shipping fees.
- You will be informed via email once your return has been received and let you know if the refund was approved or not.
- Refunds will be issued via original payment method within 3 weeks of our receipt of the item(s). A refund confirmation email will be sent.
Please note that you bear the risk for the products until it has been delivered to SELVES. Thus, you should always keep a copy of your shipping receipt for your own records. Furthermore, and as applicable, please clearly mark the package as “RETURN” on any customs paperwork and declare the correct value of goods. Goods not marked this way or declared at zero value may be subject to delays or import duties.
12. DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS
If you receive defective products, please notify us immediately. You must always notify SELVES within 7 days after you have detected that the products are defective. Please e-mail it to info@twiyo-studio.com.
Please always describe why you consider the product to be defective and please remember to refer to your order number. If SELVES consider the products to be defective, SELVES will make a full refund including shipping charges.

You may not charge anyone for use of the material and you may not publish, duplicate or otherwise distribute the material to others without prior consent from SELVES. Except as expressly stated in this legal notice, no rights or licenses to the material, or any portion thereof, shall be granted or implied.

18. INFORMATION ON THE WEBSITE
SELVES’s ambition is that the Website always shall be up and running, however we cannot guarantee this.
SELVES cannot promise that the content of the Website is free of inaccuracies or typographical errors. Neither can we guarantee that all information is up-to-date. SELVES may, at any time, amend the content of the Website. Although SELVES strives to display the correct texts, images and pricing on the Website and online shop, errors may occur.
Part of the services provided through the Website are maintained by third party operators. In situations where SELVES acts as agent for such services, we cannot be held responsible for any errors resulting from their activities. SELVES cannot be held responsible for any damage caused from using the Website or, for that matter, not being able to use the Website. SELVES cannot guarantee problem-free, uninterrupted, and secure access to the Website.

22. SELFTITLED'S RESPONSIBILITY
SELVES’s liabilities to you are limited in each separate case to these Terms and Conditions unless otherwise is stipulated by law. In no case whatsoever will SELVES assume any liability for indirect damages such as loss of profit or in case of force majeure such as government action or omission, new legislation, labor conflict, war or threat of war, major disruptions of public order, sabotage, extreme weather conditions, fire, explosion, natural disaster, accident or other circumstances beyond SELVES’s control and which SELVES could not reasonably have overcome or anticipate.
SELVES’s liabilities to you will never exceed your total purchase amount for each order.
In case of force majeure, SELVES’s obligations will be suspended. The contract between you and SELVES can, in such cases, be partially or fully terminated by yourself or by SELVES.
23. PROVISIONS SEVERABILITY
If any part of these Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or unenforceable, such determination shall not invalidate any other provision of these Terms and Conditions; instead the invalid terms and conditions shall be replaced with other terms in order to give effect to the commercial intentions of these Terms and Conditions.
24. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong.
25. FEEDBACK AND COMPLAINTS POLICY
We welcome any comments about our service, so that we can improve what we are doing. We aim to deal with any problems quickly and fairly. If you have reason to complain about our service, please e-mail our Customer Services Team stating clearly that you are making a complaint. Our aim is to respond to your complaint within a few working days, either resolving the complaint, or with providing you with a timescale for resolution
